10 Ways to Improve Your Site's Accessibility

Color Contrast

Site themes and colors should provide sufficient contrast between background and foreground elements to ensure perceivability by low-vision and color-blind users.   Color combinations may be reviewed for contrast at design time, or as part of a site assessment. The ratio of foreground to background color is 3:1 for large text (>=  14pt) and 4.5:1 for small text (< 14pt).
